GIS professional with three years of experience, currently working as a GIS Specialist at Teamnet Solutions International, a local IT&C company in Romania. I hold a BA in Geography and Urban Planning and an MSc in GIS and Remote Sensing from the University of Bucharest. and a professional diploma in Geology from the University of Milan. I am a prospective PhD candidate. My research interests are Geology, GIS, Optical remote sensing, SAR, Radar altimetry, Hyperspectral remote sensing, Oceanography and Environmental protection as well as Cartography, Data visualization, Machine learning, Big Data, scientific programming and promoting geospatial education.
