Hi
Are there any books or resources on types of mineral deposits and alterations? I find these topics in optics articles. However, I always find a small part of the topic. I am looking for a resource written for mineral deposit studies that teaches how to use satellite and drone hyperspectral data manually at first and then by writing code. Does anyone have information on this subject?

Hi everyone! I am Carolina Moreno, a Geologist Engineer from Colombia. I’m really into learning all about hyperspectral image processing – the theory behind it and how to actually use it. My main goal is to get good at identifying different minerals from hyperspectral data, which is super useful for exploring mineral resources and geothermal energy sites or for the sustainable exploitation of minerals. Trying to master different techniques to help with the sustainability of the mining industry is what’s driving me. Always down to chat with others interested in this kind of cutting-edge remote sensing stuff!
