I, Sarisha Ramjeawon, am studying at one of South Africa’s leading universities, the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am in my second level of studying Environmental Science, however, I am also a qualified and experienced Earth Systems Science core-lecturer for the Applied Climate Centre for Earth System Science (ACCESS), at the age of 19. The opportunities of my recent past has molded me into an ambitious individual who sees no boundaries in pursuing my dreams. GIS and Remote Sensing has been in my interest for many years, and having to know about this course is a cherry on the top. I look forward to this new journey through space with a fantastic team, as well as experience a bit more than the theory work in my university modules.
