This is a very important Lesson on the way to understand how a Radar image is detected and how a Radar works!
The module “SAR Imaging” introduces basic vocabulary and the underlying principles of the Radar imaging technology. The operating principle of a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), which is the foundation of space borne Radar remote sensing, is explained in this lesson. Furthermore, the imaging geometry and typical characteristics of Radar images are presented.
This lesson comes with a tutorial on Image Focusing.

Thanks for the lessons
Okay, found the link.
It is not very clear where the link is.
For anyone else lost on where to download the material (boy, I know I was), it’s a pulsating green button at the bottom of your screen. No need to scroll down.
How exactly does one download this unit from this page?
