Introduction to Mapping Urban Areas with Remote Sensing
Get to know the structure of this course and learn about the current challenges as well as the necessity and the importance of monitoring urban change and development. Furthermore you’ll acquire some knowledge about the applied datasets and different methods which will, later on, be used for mapping urban areas in three use cases.
You will be introduced to the upcoming use cases and the methods and datasets you will be working with. Furthermore you’ll also get a brief introduction to the user interface of Google Earth Engine (GEE).
